چکیده
Objective: The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the fracture resistance endodontically treated teeth restored with different intraradicular posts (carbon fibers, glass, or quartz) varying post diameters (narrow, medium, large). Methodology: One hundred and twenty bovine incisors were space prepared. classified according distinct [Narrow (0.91-1.49mm), Medium (1.5-2.08mm), Large (2.09mm-2.67mm)] randomly allocated four restorative treatments: control (CO) - without post; glass fiber (GF), carbon (CF) quartz (QF) posts. cemented dual-cure resin cement (Duo Link, Bisco, Schaumburg, United States) coronary portion reconstructed composite (Bis-Core, States). Fracture values (N) analyzed by two-way ANOVA Bonferroni test (α=0.05). Results: mechanical behavior similar other evaluated posts, regardless diameter. group (without post) showed highest (1013.8 1127.2 N) relation groups (236.1 615.1 N). Within same material, diameter influenced strength only post, for large. Conclusion: A larger gives greater QF; CF have diameter; large diameter, type used does not differ resistance.

Comparison of fracture resistance of endodontically treated teeth restored with two different fiber posts
Background: The aim of this study was to determine and compare the fracture resistance of endodontically treated teeth restored with two different glass fiber posts. Materials and methods: Thirty extracted intact human premolar teeth were selected for the study. All the teeth were decoronated maintaining root length of 15mm from apex. Root canals were enlarged using protaper rotary file. Obtura...

متن کاملFracture resistance of endodontically treated teeth restored by different FRC posts: an in vitro study.
BACKGROUND Posts and cores are often required for restoration of pulpless teeth and to provide retention and resistance for a complete crown, but conventional posts may increase the root fracture. OBJECTIVE This study was performed to compare the root fracture resistance of extracted teeth treated with different fibers reinforced with composite posts and treated teeth with conventional post a...

The purpose of this study was to determine the fracture resistance of 4 post and core systems. 40 extracted maxillary canines (for orthodontic reason) were used for this study. The samples were divided into 4 groups, which were: Group (1) Cast post luted with Rely X ARC; Group (2) Cast post cemented with zinc phosphate; Group (3) Fibre post luted with Rely X + Filtek Z-250 as core material; Gro...
متن کاملIn Vitro Effect of Zirconia and Zirconia Enriched Glass Fiber Composite Posts on Fracture Resistance of Endodontically Treated Teeth
Objective: Despite the advantages of esthetic posts, lack of studies on their fracture resistance has limited their clinical use. This study aimed to compare the effect of two types of esthetic posts namely zirconia and zirconia enriched glass fiber composite posts on fracture resistance of endodontically treated teeth against compressive forces. Methods: This in vitro study was conducted o...
